Disney Store Exclusive Avengers: Endgame – Marvel Select Hulk Figure Review

The Disney Store and Diamond Select Toys are offering three new Marvel Select figures that are available now, including Thanos and the Incredible Hulk as they appeared in Avengers: Endgame, Captain Marvel as she appeared in the Captain Marvel Movie. These are just the latest Marvel Select exclusives, and we expect to see more in 2020 and hopefully some announcements next month at New York ToyFair.

This version of Hulk is similar to the Nano-Gauntlet Hulk figure that just shipped to comic shops from Diamond Select Toys, as the outfits are of similar design, but are also completely unique to each other as well as the head sculpts.

Thank you to Disney and The Disney Store for proving their exclusive Avengers: Endgame – Marvel Select Hulk Figure for review.

Availability: January 2020

Hulk is packaged in the standard Marvel Select packaging, with the Avengers: Endgame artwork on the side, and an image of him on the back along with a brief bio.

Hulk stands at roughly 8-3/4″ tall and is based on his appearance in Avengers: Endgame, which is also a different figure compared to the Nano-Gauntlet Hulk figure release, even though both figures have a similar outfit. This figure does not come with a Nano-Gauntlet, and is based on earlier scenes in the film such as the time travel mission to collect the Infinity Stones and bring back everyone that Thanos has killed in Avengers: Infinity War. This suit is painted in a dark grey, light grey and purple with the sculpt featuring sculpted texture that is consistent throughout. The paint applications on the suit, including the lines are nice and crisp and the textures give him a high-end figure quality.

As you can see, both versions have a completely different look, including the head sculpts being unique, interchangeable hands and even the colors of the suit. Both figures share a very similar build, while the sculpts are completely unique, including the hands and feet.

Hi head sculpt is quite impressive, and has more of a likeness to Bruce Banner than the Hulk was portrayed in the 2012 Avengers movie. The facial details are very nicely done, and he has grey hair on the sides that are washed on over the black.

Hulk includes two sets of interchangeable hands, including a set of fisted and open handed.

Hulk is also fully articulated as you would expect, and includes a ball jointed head, ball hinged shoulders, swivel-hinged elbows, swivel-hinged wrists, ball jointed torso, swivel waist, ball jointed hips, swivel thighs, double-hinged knees, hinged and rocker ankles.

Overall, Hulk is an incredible figure and a great addition to the Marvel Select Avengers line. It’s great to have multiple versions of movie figures on your shelf just for fun, and this one is no exception. With a brand new sculpt, you will definitely want to pick him up. Look for him at The Disney Store now.
