Orko and Fang Man are packaged on the standard Origins-style bluster card, with the appropriate logo’s on top, Hordak above that, Castle Grayskull, and the back includes more great artwork showcasing the episodes “The Return of Orko’s Uncle,” and “The Time Corridor.”. Shown below that is a look each figure with their accessories, and a look at the rest of the wave. Included is a sheet of instructions, and a mini-comic.

Orko is given an improved sculpt over his 2020 release, as this one is based on the cartoon, it’s more in-line with his appearance. He comes in his red outfit with the black circle, an orange pointy hat, with black on the side, blue pointy ears, a black face with yellow eyes that have black pupils, a pink scarf, and blue hands. He comes with an acrylic flight stand.
Orko’s articulation includes a ball jointed hat, ball jointed head, swivel-hinged shoulders, swivel-hinged elbows, and swivel-hinged wrists.

Orko includes the Hero Medal that he can hold.

He also includes an Uncle Montork head that can be swapped out with his own. Just note that Orko’s head and scarf are two separate pieces, while Uncle Montork’s head, scarf and beard are one piece. This head has rectangle eyes, a pink scarf and a white beard.

Here is a comparison of Orko and Uncle Montork with their Masters of the Universe Classics and Origins releases. Which one’s are better you ask? Always Masters of the Universe Classics (7″ scale) over anything else, but these Origins style figures in the 5.5″ scale are the best in this particular scale. Uncle Montork has only had one other figure, which was in Classics as a 2-pack with Dree Elle.

Fang Man also makes a debut in the Origins Cartoon Collection line, and he is a blue skinned lizard, with red, and yellow outfit, orange collar and bracelets, a black belt, with red boots.

His head sculpt includes dark blue spikes, yellow eyes with black pupils, a red tongue sticking out, pink mouth and white fangs.
Fang Man’s articulation includes a ball jointed ball jointed head, swivel-hinged shoulders, swivel-hinged elbows, swivel-hinged wrists, ball jointed hips, swivel-hinged knees, swivel boots, hinged and rocker ankles.

Fang Man includes the Infinity Wheel, which is yellow with a red design.

Here is a comparison with his Classics release.
Overall, Orko and Fang Man are excellent figures with great likeness to how they appeared in the 1980’s cartoon. This is definitely great offering sthat you’re going to want to add to your Cartoon Collection. Make sure to order now at BigBadToyStore!
