Barriss Offee was a Jedi Padawan to Jedi Council member Luminara Unduli during The Clone Wars, and had left the Jedi Order before the end of the war. The character has appeared in a number Star Wars entertainment properties, including Attack of the Clones, The Clone Wars and more recently Tales of the Empire.
Hasbro is continuing to expand The Black Series line with Jedi outside of the Council members, and this figure is based on her appearance in Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones, which was the start of the Clone Wars.

Barriss Offee is packaged in the standard Black Series window box, with logo’s on the front and right side, an image of her on the left, and an image of her and a description on the back. She comes packaged in a plastic tray along with her lightsaber.
Barriss Offee is mostly covered in a soft goods cape and skirt, along with a plastic hood that covers most of her head with the exception of the face. The cape hangs just below the feet, and there is a pattern on the back of the cape. The skirt is held up by the sculpted belt, which is purple with a metallic gold and brown and purple belt buckle design. Her shirt is given a sculpted texture, with a detailed design, along with her sleeves. The legs are hidden under the skirt and smooth with black pants, and the boots are given a metallic black finish. There are also black tattoos on her wrists.
The head sculpt is mostly covered, and she’s given a great likeness in the face to the source material and was a Mirialan Jedi, and the sculpt, deco and species characteristics all came out good here. She has black eye browns, lips, and species characteristics, and nicely done painted eyes. The skin tone is a greenish yellow.
Her articulation includes a ball jointed head, ball hinged shoulders (the skirt prevents some of the range of motion in the shoulders), swivel-hinged elbows, swivel-hinged wrists, ball jointed torso, ball jointed hips, swivel thighs, double hinged knees, swivel boots, hinged and rocker ankles.
Included is a blue lightsaber, with a metallic silver hilt. The hilt has a peg but there is no where to plug it into the figures hips, and the blade is detachable (I had to use a hair dryer to soften up the plastic as it was stuck together, and using excessive force is never a good idea). She can hold the lightsaber/hilt in one or both hands.
For the first-time, she is reunited with her Jedi Master Iuminara Unduli in 6″ form, as both characters are now part of the line.
Overall, Barriss Offee came out great and this is a character that you’re going to want to add to your collection. More Jedi in the line are always great additions especially when you have a Master and Padawan in the sale scale. What would make it even better is if Hasbro offered her as she appeared in Star Wars: Tales of the Empire, where she joined the Inquisitors. Make sure to pick her up now at Entertainment Earth!
