Peacemaker celebrated its second season this year, which introduces fans to a parallel world where life is everything he wishes it would be, including his father and brother are alive, and the public loves him. But not is all what it seems. In celebration of the new season, McFarlane Toys offered one great Peacemaker figure inspired by the series, which stars John Cena and this season runs for 8 episodes, which is streaming now on Max.

Peacemaker is packaged in the standard DC Multiverse window box, with artwork and logo’s inspired by the series, along with artwork of the character on the back of the box.
Peacemaker is a retool of the 2021 Suicide Squad figure sculpt and is given two new head sculpts that captures the likeness of John Cena better. He comes in his red, beige and blue outfit, with sculpted textures on the shirt and pants, and a newly tooled belt and holster on his right hip that holds the gun. His upper chest has an orange and yellow insignia that is slightly bigger than the one that came on the 2021 version. The belt is blue and silver, and his gun is also silver with a white and silver handle.
Peacemaker includes two head sculpts, one with three interchangeable helmets, and the other a John Cena likeness. The helmets are metallic silver, with two of them in teal as each one has a different power. In the series, we’ve seen his Sonic Blast and X-Ray helmets, which is possible that’s what these are, but we’ve also seen an entire display of helmets not worn by him and their powers remain unknown. These three helmets can fit over his head, and there is a peg on the top of the head and a slot inside the helmet to firmly place it in.
Peacemaker’s gun can be placed in either one of his open grip hands, and there is a trigger finger on each hand.
Eagly is included and is a non-articulated figure, with brown and white sculpted feathers, yellow beak and feet, with black nails. There is no where on the body to place Eagly onto Peacemaker, so I put his foot through Peacemaker’s hand and that is what seemed to hold him into place.
As this is a retooled sculpt, there is a lot of reuse here, with the exception of the heads, helmets, belt and holster, but ultimately you’re getting a better version of the character that’s an upgrade compared to the 2021 release offered in the Suicide Squad King Shark wave.
Also included is a collectible art card, and a display base.
Here is a comparison of Peacemaker with his 2021 release, and you can see that the helmet is now silver, as opposed to a dark grey, with a more accurate head sculpt.
He is also fully articulated, and includes a ball jointed head and neck, ball hinged shoulders, swivel biceps, double-hinged elbows, swivel-hinged wrists, ball jointed torso, ball jointed hips, double-hinged knees, hinged and rocker ankles.
Overall, Peacemaker is a great figure with a much better John Cena likeness and more accurate to the source material. This is also a popular figure this year amongst DC Multiverse collectors, so make sure to grab him while you can.
