Juggernaut based on his appearance in the classic Marvel vs. Capcom video game of the late 1990’s, which saw some of the better known characters from both brands fight each other in a 2-player video game. IN the game, Juggernaut was depicted as a massive muscular mutant, more so than he was depicted in the X-Men comic books. This figure is based on the game, and given an all-new bulky sculpt.

Juggernaut is packaged in a window box with the Gamerverse logo and artwork, including his name in 8-bit that is inspired by the video game Marvel Vs. Capcom, the sides include video game images of the character, and the back features him in a victory pose and Silver Samurai on the ground defeated. Also on the back are his statistics from the game, and beautifully done artwork. He comes in a packaged in a plastic tray along with his accessories.
Juggernaut is given an all-new sculpt that pays tribute to his video game appearance, which is bigger, bulkier and more menacing than any other Juggernaut figure released in Marvel Legends in the lines long history. He stands at roughly 9″ tall making him one of the tallest Marvel Legends figures released this year. Juggernaut comes in his armor, with parts of the arms bare that has veins and muscles showing. The armor is in dark and light red, with the lower stomach on the light brown given a sculpted texture. The closed fisted hands have a removable knuckle piece that is removable and you can switch it out for the effect piece.
Juggernaut’s head sculpt includes the dome helmet that is smooth with bolts around the bottom. The helmet is also sculpted the head and non-removable. The facial details are nicely done and has white grinning teeth, and painted eyes.
His closed fisted hands are obviously his most memorable, and the effect piece is placed on the sides of his hands after removing the knuckle piece.. The effect piece is a great accessories and something memorable from the game, and this is to show off his immense strength while fighting.
He also includes a set of gripping hands with his fingers sculpted apart, and the right hand can grab a limb of an opponent.
His articulation includes a ball jointed head with limited movement, ball hinged shoulders, swivel biceps, swivel-hinged elbows, swivel-hinged wrists, ball jointed torso, ball joined hips, swivel thighs, double-hinged knees, swivel boots, hinged and rocker ankles, and hinged toes.

Overall, Juggernaut is a great offerings and features one of the best likenesses of the character ever released. Getting this new version of him is refreshing and something new.
