Starting off 2026’s reviews with Hasbro’s Marvel Legends Series 6″ Gamerverse Punisher and Nick Fury figures that are inspired by the 1993 Marvel The Punisher video game. Both figures are inspired by this classic Beat ’em up video game. The game starts off in an illegal casino and the streets in New York City with The Punisher parented with Nick Fury. They are chasing after mafia enforcer Bruno Costa, as he was the one that ordered the killing of the Punisher’s family. The game continues with a confrontation with classic Marvel characters such as Bonebreaker, Bushwhacker, Jigsaw, and ends with the final boss, Kingpin himself.

The Punisher and Nick Fury are packaged in a window box, with images and logo’s on all sides, including a description on the back. The back also specifies that this is based on a 2-player game, with The Punisher as player 1, and Nick Fury as player 2. The figures come in a plastic tray along with their accessories.
The Punisher comes in a light blue and white suit as seen in the game, wit the skull on his chest, a white harness, belt, gloves, boots, and holster on his right thigh for his pistol. The base of the body is reuse from The Punisher 2-pack that came with Bushwacker, but includes a new holster on the thigh now on the opposite leg, and a harness. The belt is also reuse, which now has white pouches around it as opposed to black.
The Punisher includes two head sculpts, each with a unique expression. The grinning one shows his white teeth, and both have black sculpted hair, and nicely done facial details and painted eyes, lips and eye brows.
Included with The Punisher are three sets of interchangeable hands (closed fisted, open grip, right fingers pointing and left open hand), a rifle, sub-machine gun, a pistol, and a grenade. The rifle can be held in one or both hands, and the pistol can be stored in the holster on his thigh.
Here’s a comparison between his previous offering that was included with the Bushwasher 2-pack. As stated above, the harness and holster are new, as well as the head sculpts, with the base of the body being reuse.
His articulation includes a ball jointed head and hinged neck, ball hinged and butterfly shoulders, swivel biceps, double hinged elbows, swivel-hinged wrists, ball jointed torso, ball jointed hips, swivel thighs, double hinged knees, swivel calves, hinged and rocker ankles.
Nick Fury is also video game inspired and this time he does not come in his S.H.I.E.L.D. uniform, but this outfit is memorable to those that played this game. He comes in an orange shirt, green pants, green harness, brown belt with silver buckles, and brown boots. There is no insignia for S.H.I.E.L.D. on this outfit, which also was not seen in the game.
The torso and head sculpt is new compared to the S.H.I.E.L.D. 3-pack offering from a few years ago, with the belt, legs, and boots being reuse.
Nick Fury includes one head sculpt, with the black eye patch over his left eye, brown sculpted hair with grey on the sides, a grinning mouth, and nicely done facial details.
Included with Nick Fury are three sets of interchangeable hands (closed fisted, open grip, right fingers pointing and left open hand), a rifle, sub-machine gun, pistol and a baseball bat. The rifle can be held in one or two hands, and the pistol can be stored in the holster on his thigh.

Overall, The Punisher and Nick Fury are excellent figures with a great likeness to the video game and a lot of great detail and paint applications. This is an essential release for fans of this classic game, as it brings back fond memories from the game and these great outfits that you never see anymore.
