Marvel’s Starfox and Champion of the Universe makes their debut into this line with this offering, and are based on their classic appearance as seen in the pages of Marvel Comics. Both characters make great additions to the line especially for anyone looking to complete their ’80s Avengers collections. Starfox has been on people’s wishlist for many years now, and is the younger brother of Thanos. Champion of the Universe, is one of the Elders of the Universe, and is one of the oldest beings in the universe. He once possessed the Power Gem, but Thanos took it from him during his quest for the Infinity Gauntlet.
This set is also offered at a bargain price of $57.99 as the MSRP, as Champion of the Universe is an oversized 8″ build-a-figure sized figure, and when these are sold separately, their price point is typically $39.99, while a standard figure like Starfox is priced at $27.99.

Starfox and Champion of the Universe are packaged in a window box with artwork and logo’s on all sides, with images of their comic appearance on the sides, and additional comic book artwork on the back. The figures are packaged in a plastic tray for safe keeping.
Starfox makes his long awaited debut into the Marvel Legends line, and is an Eternal of Titan, with he ability to psychically stimulate the brain’s pleasure centers, enabling him to influence others’ emotions. He comes in his classic red and white outfit, with yellow on the collar, a yellow symbol on his chest, and gold bracelets on his forearms.
Starfox’s head sculpt looks great and he comes with light brown hair, with the sides pointed upward, and facial details with painted eyes, painted lips, white teeth and sculpted brown eye lashes.
His articulation includes a ball jointed head, hinged neck, ball-hinged shoulders, swivel biceps, double-hinged elbows, swivel-hinged wrists, ab crunch, waist rotation, ball jointed hips, swivel thighs, double-hinged knees, hinged and rocker ankles.
Included with Starfox are two sets of interchangeable hands (closed fisted and open grip).
Champion of the Universe is one of the elders of the Universe, and is offered as a build-a-figure sized figure with a big, bulky sculpt. Tryco Slatterus, Champion is inspired by his classic comic-book appearance, and comes in a big muscular sculpt, with a dark blue shirt with gold on the collar and upper chest, red pants and boots, a gold championship belt, gold bracelets, and a light blue skin tone. He also includes two bracelets on his forearms, each with the same sculpted detail on the front.
HIs head sculpt is impressive and proportional to the body, with nicely done facial details, including a black wash around the eyes, painted lips, and long red sculpted hair.
His articulation includes a ball jointed head, hinged neck, ball-hinged shoulders, swivel biceps, double-hinged elbows, swivel-hinged wrists, ab crunch, waist rotation, ball jointed hips, swivel thighs, double-hinged knees, swivel calves, hinged and rocker ankles.
The championship belt around his chest is given some great sculpted details, just like a wrestlers belt. Champion includes two sets of interchange hands (closed fisted and open grip).
Overall, these cosmic characters are long overdue for the Marvel Legends line as fans have waited a long time. Starfox is definitely the gem as he helped the Avengers, and Champion of the Universe is an impressive looking figure that stands out on his own.
