Mattel is now offering their Masters of the Universe Origins 200X Skeletor, Zodak, Prince Adam and Clawful Figures, which are based on the 2002 series, and part of the Cartoon Collection offerings. This has been an excellent sub-line in Origins as this fan-favorite series deserves a modern line like this, despite this show was cancelled before its time. The third season would have been spectacular, as it would have told the story of the Third Ultimate Battleground, with the Masters of the Universe and Skeletor’s Evil Warriors, against the Horde and the Snake Men. The Masters of the Universe Classics mini-comics dove into this a bit, and we learned about some of the loses in the war, the outcome and some of the battles being fought, but it’s not the same thing.
Each figure is priced at $21.99, while Clawful is a deluxe and priced at $26.49.

Prince Adam comes packaged on a blister card, with the 200X Castle Grayskull and logo on the front, and the back includes some great artwork featuring Prince Adam, the logo and informs fans that he’s inspired from the episode “The Courage of Adam.”
Clawful comes in a window box, as he’s a deluxe figure, and includes Castle Grayskull and the 200X logo on top, images of him on the sides, and the back includes some great artwork and informs fans that he’s inspired fromm the episode “The Island.”
Both figures includes a sheet of instructions showing which parts can be removed and swapped, and Clawful includes a card.
Prince Adam comes in his 200X outfit, and includes a red vest, white undershirt, a brown harness that is sculpted to the vest with a yellow belt buckle, a brown belt with a yellow belt buckle, with a loop that the scepter can be stored in, light triple pants, brown gloves and light brown boots, and grey forearm armor. The outfit is given some nice sculpted details, including the undershirt, belt and cuffs.
His head sculpt includes blonde hair, blue eyes, and nicely done facial details.
Prince Adam includes a scepter, which he can hold in either open grip hand, or placed on his belt.
His articulation includes a ball jointed, ball hinged shoulders, swivel-hinged elbows, swivel-hinged wrists, swivel waist, ball jointed hips, swivel-hinged knees, swivel Cales, hinged and rocker ankles.

Clawful is a deluxe figure and oversized, and is a big, bulky lobster creature, with a detailed chest overlay showcasing his species characterizes from the series, with a red and brown skin tone, a large lobster claw on the right, and a small pincher on the left. His hips are covered in armor, which has metallic blue in the front, light blue, a grey belt with a red oval on the front of the belt. He’s also given a silver bracelet with sculpted grooves, and ankle bracelets. His legs are sculpted thinner than the arms, and the pinches are hinged on both hands. Parts of the right claw have bumps, which is a nice touch.
His head sculpt includes sharp teeth around the mouth, spikes on top of the head, painted eyes, and nicely done facial details.
Clawful does not come with any accessories, and the claws aren’t even capable of holding a weapon, so it’s not even necessary for him to come with any.
Clawful’s articulation includes a ball jointed head, ball hinged shoulders, swivel-hinged elbows, swivel-hinged left wrist, hinged claws, swivel waist, ball jointed hips, swivel-hinged knees, swivel calves, hinged and rocker ankles.

Overall, Prince Adam and Clawful look great and pay good likenesses to the classic cartoon. Clawful is an absolute beast of a figure and an eye catcher in this line. These are definitely must haves to add to your collection, so grab them now at BigBadToyStore.
