Star Wars: Attack of the Clones hit theaters back in 2002 and is notable as kicked off The Clone Wars, which puts the Jedi Order and their newly formed Clone Troopers against the Separatist Alliance. To commemorate this film, Hasbro is offering three new Black Series 6″ figures, including Geonosian Warrior and Taun We, and the wave also includes Watto, which is based on his appearance in The Phantom Menace.

The Geonosian Warrior comes packaged in a window box, with the standard artwork and logo’s on all sides, including an image of him on the right, and the back includes an image and a description. He comes packaged in a plastic tray, along with a smaller tray in the back that has the interchangeable wings.
The n Warrior features the species characteristics as seen in the film, which his a nsectoid species with four wings, oval head and thin body with three fingers and two toes. The sculpt is painted in a light brown with a green wash, a gold, brown and red armor, with the upper chest armor featuring spikes above the shoulders and back.
The head sculpt features a great likeness to the race, with eyes, nose, and a mouth with two sharp white teeth.
Included are two sets of interchangeable wings, with a brown and red wash on one, and a light brown wash on the other. Both are ball jointed and plug into the back.
Also included is the blaster that the race used in Attack of the Clones, which he can hold in one or two heads, as well as a flight stand that is a clear acrylic, with a ball joint that plus into the lower back.
His articulation includes a ball jointed head and back, ball hinged shoulders, swivel-hinged shoulders, swivel-hinged wrists, ball jointed torso, ball jointed hips, swivel-hinged knees, swivel-hinged calves, hinged and rocker ankles. The calve joints tend to be a bit loose so you’ll need to pick a pose that he won’t fall over so easily, but using the flight stand that is not an issue.
Overall, the Geonosian Warrior is a great addition to the line and one of a few alien army builder characters offered in the line that is not a droid. This is an essential character to your Clone Wars collection and he features an excellent likeness to the source material. Make sure to grab him and additional figures now at BigBadToyStore!
