Mattel is now offering their Masters of the Universe Origins 200X Buzz Off, Keldor, Webstor and Whiplash Figures, which are based on the 2002 series, and part of the Cartoon Collection offerings. This has been an excellent sub-line in Origins as this fan-favorite series deserves a modern line like this, despite this show was cancelled before its time. The third season would have been spectacular, as it would have told the story of the Third Ultimate Battleground, with the Masters of the Universe and Skeletor’s Evil Warriors, against the Horde and the Snake Men. The Masters of the Universe Classics mini-comics dived into this a bit, and we learned about some of the loses in the war, the outcome and some of the battles being fought, but it’s not the same thing.

Buzz Off, Keldor and Webstor comes packaged on a blister card, with the 200X Castle Grayskull and logo on the front, and the back includes some great artwor, the logo and informs fans what episode that they are inspired from. Whiplash comes in a window box, as he’s a deluxe figure, and includes Castle Grayskull and the 200X logo on top, images of him on the sides, and the back includes some great artwork and informs fans that he’s inspired from the episode “Underworld.” All figures includes a sheet of instructions showing which parts can be removed and swapped, and Whiplash includes a card.
Buzz Off features the likeness of a bee and comes with beige arms and legs, with a chest that is brown and yellow, brown hands, feet, and trunks. There is a teal and light brown insignia on the belt, and the wings are made of a transparent yellow plastic. He also has pinchers on his back in beige, and brown on his shoulders. The hands, forearms, and back of the feet also have pinchers, which also have a sharp point.
His head sculpt is also brown and yellow, with teal eyes, antenna’s, and two small horns on the chin.
His articulation includes a ball jointed head, ball hinged shoulders, swivel-hinged elbows, swivel-hinged wrists, swivel waist, swivel-hinged wings, swivel-hinged back pinchers, ball jointed hips, swivel-hinged knees, swivel calves, hinged and rocker ankles.
Buzz Off includes a Poleaxe, which can be held in one or two hands.
Keldor uses the same sculpt as the recent 200X Skeletor figure, with a new head sculpt. He comes in his light blue skin tone, with a dark purchase armor and cape, and black boots. The harness over the chest has a light grey detail on the front with a pink circular center. The cape is placed on by putting the holes on top of it through the horns on the shoulders, and is made of plastic.
The head sculpt looks great and includes the same light blue skin tone, black hair with white stripes, a mustache, goatee and nicely done facial details.
His articulation includes a ball jointed head, ball hinged shoulders, swivel-hinged elbows, swivel-hinged wrists, swivel waist, ball jointed hips, swivel-hinged knees, swivel calves, hinged and rocker ankles.
Included with Keldor are the same two power swords that came with Skeletor and can be placed together.
Webstor comes in his blue skin tone, with a dark blue vest with his spider legs on the back poking through. He also has red bracelets and ankle armor, a black loin cloth and a red belt. The spider legs on the back have long legs that are bent, with pinchers and sculpted blue hair. The harness on his chest has an insignia in red and yellow.
His head sculpt looks great and he has all six eyes, two larger ones, and four little one’s above them, shark teeth, and nicely done facial details.
His articulation includes a ball jointed head, ball hinged shoulders, swivel-hinged elbows, swivel-hinged wrists, swivel waist, swivel-hinged spider legs, ball jointed hips, swivel-hinged knees, swivel calves, hinged and rocker ankles.
Unfortunately, Webstor has no accessories.
Whiplash is big and bulky and is a Deluxe offering. He comes in a green and light grey chest and skeletal bones on his upper chest. He has his light green skin tone, with lumps and dark green bones on his upper back and shoulders. His tail is long and bent in the back, with a powerful mace-like design at the end, and there are light green bones on the top. He comes in his blue armor, with a brown belt, blue bracelets, blue armor around the lower legs, and blue trunks underneath.
His head sculpt is bulky with horns on top, sharp teeth, and nicely done facial details with painted eyes.
His articulation includes a ball jointed head, ball hinged shoulders, swivel-hinged elbows, swivel-hinged wrists, swivel waist, ball jointed hips, swivel tail, swivel-hinged knees, swivel calves, hinged and rocker ankles.
Unfortunately, Whiplash does not include accessories.

Overall, Buzz Off, Keldor, Webstor and Whiplash look great and pay great likenesses to the their classic cartoon appearances. This is a line that I have been personally enjoying as 200X is a personal favorite, and each new release have brought back fond memories of the series.
