Daredevil: Born Again is the continuation of the hit Netflix series Daredevil, which has now moved over to Disney+ and continues the series with the original cast. The series has a second season coming on March 4th, 2026, which additional stars from the Netflix Marvel television series will join the cast, including Krysten Ritter’s Jessica Jones, Deborah Ann Woll’s Karen Page, and an appearance by Elden Henson’s Foggy that was killed in the first season. The Punisher is also played by his original actor Jon Bernthal, as he is also known to The Walking Dead fans as playing Shane Walsh, deputy police partner to Rick Grimes. The Punisher made his return in the first season of Daredevil: Born Again and will hopefully reprise in season 2.

The Punisher is packaged in a window box, with artwork and logo’s on all sides, including images of him on the side and back.
The Punisher is based on his appearance in the hit Daredevil: Born Again live-action series on Disney+, and features the actor Jon Bernthal. He comes in his tactical suit, which all black with sculpted pouches and pockets, a bullet proof vest with the Punisher logo spray painted on the front, knee pads, a belt ammo pouches, and holsters for his pistol and knife. The sleeves include an insignia on the left, which is silver and black and has a skull with bones, and the American flag on the right, which is grey and black.
The head sculpt is pretty decent, and features a good likeness to Jon Bernthal. The hair is sculpted and black, with the sides given a paint wash as if his sides were buzzed, and nicely done facial details.
Included with Punisher is the pistol, knife, tomahawk, and two sets of interchangeable hands (open grip, right closed fisted, left wide-grip). The pistol, knife and tomahawk also have some grey on them, along with the black.
His articulation is also standard for this era of Marvel Legends, including a ball jointed head and neck, ball hinged and butterfly shoulders, swivel biceps, double-hinged elbows, swivel-hinged wrists, ab crunch, ball jointed torso, swivel waist, ball jointed hips, swivel thighs, double-hinged knees, hinged and rocker ankles.

Overall, Punisher is an excellent figure with a great likeness to the source material and a lot of great detail that makes him look show-accurate. This is an essential release for Marvel Cinema and Marvel Legends fans this is The Punisher to the 616, the core reality to the franchise. One aspect about the figure that I find disappointing is the lack of weapons, as this is Punisher, he should include a sub-machine gun and rifle at the very least, but this offering does not. You could always use one of those weapons from another Punisher figure if you prefer, but it’s not the same as having them in this offering.
