After many years of waiting, Hasbro is finally offering The Inhumans in their Marvel Legends line, which are inspired by their appearance in Marvel Comics. The latest offerings includes Blackbolt and Triton, Medusa and Gorgon, and the previously released Crystal and Lockjaw. Karnak was also released in Disney+ Smart Hulk (build-a-figure) wave. While Hasbro has already done Black Bolt and Medusa on numerous occasions in the past, these new figures are simply better and make what came before obsolete (for the most part).

Black Bolt and Triton are packaged in a window box with artwork and logo’s including the Marvel Legends, Marvel and Inhuman logo’s on the front, images and logo’s on the sides, and the back includes more comic-inspired artwork, logo’s, and a description. The figures come in a plastic tray for safe keeping, along with their accessories.
Black Bolt is given his best likeness and sculpt yet and this modern update is a vast improvement over what’s come before. He comes in his classic black and silver outfit, with nicely done crisp lines over the black, On the back of the forearms are holes where the interchangeable wings are plugged into.
Black Bolt includes two head sculpts, neutral and screaming, both with nicely done facial details, a black mask over him, and the silver antenna on his forehead.
He comes with two pairs of wings, each with a different function, including closed wings, and open wings when he lifts his arms and uses his ability to yell and cause great destruction. Also included are three sets of interchangeable hands (closed fisted, neutral and chop/flight).
The screaming head and open chop hands can be placed on for his flight mode, as his mutant ability when yelling also allows him to fly as seen in the comics, and his ability to fly is part of his superhuman powers as an Inhuman.
His articulation includes a ball jointed head and hinged neck, ball hinged and butterfly shoulders, swivel biceps, double-hinged elbows, swivel-hinged wrists, ab crunch, waist rotation, ball jointed hips, swivel thighs, double-hinged knees, hinged and rocker ankles.
Triton makes his debut in Marvel Legends with this release, as this is a character that is now offered to complete the Inhumans Royal Family and as a team. He comes in green skin with sculpted textures, and his purple trunks, boots, gloves, and metallic purple on the sides of his waist, arms, shoulders and around his neck. The purple over the skin has a sculpted pattern as well.
Triton includes two sets of interchangeable heads, each with a different fin on top of the head, and the one that is masked covers the lower face. The facial details on both look great, and they both have different textures and deign on the foreheads.
Triton also includes two sets of interchangeable hands (closed fisted and chop).
His articulation includes a ball jointed head and hinged neck, ball hinged and butterfly shoulders, swivel biceps, double-hinged elbows, swivel-hinged wrists, ab crunch, waist rotation, ball jointed hips, swivel thighs, double-hinged knees, hinged and rocker ankles.
The Inhumans are long overdue in Marvel Legends and Hasbro has been offering core members of the team, and these will look great on your toy shelf now that we have them after a long time of waiting.
Overall, Black Bolt and Triton are excellent figures with a great likeness to the source material and a lot of great detail. This is an essential release for the Inhumans, Fantastic Four and Marvel collectibles, and fans are in for a treat with these new offerings.
