Hasbro is offering their Marvel Legends Series 6″ Marvel’s Box Build-A-Figure Wave, which includes U.S. Agent (Force Works), Lady Deadpool, Psylocke, Ghost Rider (Robbie Reyes), Ultimate Wolverine, Dark Avengers Hawkeye, and Marvel’s Marrina. This version of Psylocke features more armor as seen in the comics, as Betsy Braddock changed outfits after the X-Men to the Australian Outback. Robbie Reyes’s actions to steal a car led to him becoming Ghost Rider, which was Marvel’s attempt to create a younger and new Ghost Rider character. Marrina Smallwood is an alien/human hybrid is a member of Canada’s Alpha Flight Super Hero team.

Marinna, Psylocke and Ghost Rider are packaged in a window box with artwork and logo’s on all sides, including images on the sides, and the back includes a description, an image of the character, and a look at the wave and Box (the build-a-figure).
Marinna makes her debut in Marvel Legends and is a member of Alpha Flight, Canada’s Super Hero team. She is based on her classic appearance in Marvel Comics, including light green skin, a textured dark green metallic bathing suit, and a loose necklace with a pearl around her neck. The sculpt is thin and lean, and the neutral hands are webbed, as she’s capable of surviving underwater.
Her head sculpt features a dark green and sculpted hair, with a light green wash, large black eyes, an open mouth, and nicely done facial details.
Marinna includes two sets of interchangeable hands, including closed fisted, and webbed, and the torso of Box.
Her articulation includes a ball jointed head and hinged neck, ball hinged shoulders, swivel biceps, double-hinged elbows, swivel-hinged wrists, ball jointed torso, ball jointed hips, swivel thighs, double-hinged knees, hinged and rocker ankles.
Here is a comparison with some of the members of Alpha Flight, and she fits in nicely with these older figures.
Psylocke is given a new outfit for Marvel Legends, and features more armor as seen in the pages of Marvel Comics. She comes in a metallic supreme and pink armored suit, with the purple armor overlapping the pink in various places. The armor is also given some nicely done sculpted curves and lines, including soft plastic shoulder pads, and a plastic cape that is not removable as it’s attached to the front of the collar. The back of the cape is given a sculpted texture, while the front of it is given a darker purple and smooth.
Her head sculpt is hooded, which is non-removable and also not connected to the cape. The hood is also given a sculpted texture, and made of a soft plastic. Her head sculpt is given a pink mask, painted purple eyes, red lip stick, purple sculpted hair, and nicely done facial details.
Included is a Psionic butterfly effect that connects to the sides of her head, with pegs that fit between the face and the hair (just be careful when doing this and press the hair away from the sides), two sets of interchangeable hands (closed fisted, and neutral), and the left leg for Box.

Robbie Reyes also makes his debut in Marvel Legends, and this is the same figure that was originally planned with the Engine of Vengeance crowdfund in 2022, which would have included his iconic car with detachable flames, light-up features and more. Clearly, fans did not want to pay $350 for that and the project failed to fund, and what was the most irritating part of it is that Hasbro originally planned two figures for it, and if the project didn’t fund by a certain date, fans would have gotten a Robby Reyes human form figure, which also didn’t happen, and Hasbro still tried to fund this after taking this figure away. So fans were stuck paying the same amount for less. The project was a disaster for that reason, poorly planned, and clearly the team made a bad call on this one.
Moving forward four years later, this Ghost Rider Robby Reyes figure is finally released as a single figure offering, and it’s great to finally own him in the line. He comes in his black suit with white stripes on the front, white stripes on the hands, with wrinkles on the outfit to make it look more realistic.
His head sculpt looks great with the white skull, with flames coming out the sides of the mouth, and on the top of the head, which is translucent orange and yellow plastic. The eyes are also painted in yellow and orange, to look like flames, and the sculpt of the mouth, nose and eyes all look great.

Ghost Rider includes a chain that can connect to the pick hammer or crowbar, and two sets of interchangeable hands (open grip, right closed fisted, and left neutral), and the right leg for Box.
Here is a comparison with the Marvel Legends Retro Collection Ghost Rider figure. This new release is shorter, and a completely different look and design as these versions of Ghost Rider are not the same character.
Here is a look at the build-a-figure parts included with these three figures, with the legs connected to the torso. Box is a nice idea as he’s also a member of Alpha Flight, and a character not offered before. It’s unfortunate that build-a-figures aren’t as common in Marvel Legends as they used to be, as getting that extra figure is a nice addition and brings value to the wave. I personally have a list of over 20 build-a-figures, or singles releases I want to see in this line, and interestingly enough Box was not on my list, but happy to see him make the cut regardless.
