Abomination comes packaged in a window box, which is inspired by retro ToyBiz Hulk figures of the mid-1990’s, including the Incredible Hulk logo, on the front and pack, and some great artwork on all sides. The back includes an image of Abomination along with a description.

Abomination uses the same sculpt as he was previously offered as a build-a-figure, with all new deco and an improvement of the characters likeness. The sculpt is given sculpted textured skin, and lumps, with spikes, on his back, shoulders, elbows, and calves, which are made of a soft plastic. Mot of the skin tone is dark green with a light green wash on his chest and arms. His torn green pants includes a black belt, which is unbuckled on the front. The finger and toe nails and black and long, with both made of a soft plastic.

Abomination includes three head sculpts, one with an open snarling mouth, one grinning, and one with a gruesome transformation with two faces. The ears and facial details on the first two heads are also unique, and both are given some nicely done facial details. The third head is truly terrifying with the faces and tentacles around it.

Abomination does not include any other accessories other than the three head sculpts, and the absence of interchangeable hands is notable for this release. A set of closed fisted hands would have been ideal for this release, given how Hasbro used the same sculpt, repainted it, and included three new heads.
His articulation includes a ball jointed head and neck, ball hinged and butterfly shoulders, swivel biceps, swivel-hinged elbows, swivel-hinged wrists, ball jointed torso, ball jointed hips, swivel thighs, double-hinged knees, and swivel-hinged ankles.

Here’s a comparison of Abomination with his build-a-figure release, and as you can see the vast amount of differences between these two figures.

Overall, this is the best Abomination that Hasbro has offered in Marvel Legends and pays a great likeness to his appearance in the comics. Even without more hand sculpts, you’re getting a great figure and one that has been in desperate need of an upgrade like this. Make sure to grab him now at BigBadToyStore as this Abomination release is surely one of the best one’s to own.
